AMLO's headquarters are a tourist attraction

's headquarters are quite popular , the house in the Roma neighborhood has turned into an office to receive petitions from the public, information, to ask for help against crime, and now a days, a tourist attraction, where people go to try and take a selfie with López Obrador or try to greet him . By the way, we're told that everything is ready to host the Canadian delegation on Wednesday , their meeting will include the commercial relationship between the countries. They say that because of Chrystia Freeland's visit, she's the External Affairs Secretary , they cleaned every corner of the house.
Anaya is taking a few days off to think
The former PAN presidential candidate, Ricardo Anaya , won't attend any public event during the rest of the month. We're told that he is in Querétaro with his family, where he is contemplating his eventual participation in academic activities and his future in the PAN . Almost a month after the July 1st election, those close to him don't see any hint that Mr. Ricardo will be seen in public soon. Also, in the last week, there have been voices who have demanded a pacific succession in the PAN . Will he keep on flipping the coin to decide on his political future?
Ruiz Massieu y the mood inside the PRI
We're told the mood inside the PRI has decayed so much that one of the first actions of the new PRI president , Claudia Ruiz Massieu , will be to try to console the candidates who lost. They also said that Mrs. Claudia is sending personalized letters to thank them and recognize the difficulty of the task they had to carry out during the past election. In the letters, she also acknowledges them , thanks the m for their effort and promises that her presidency will be an open one, close-knit, and plural . The PRI has a lot left to do to reflect on and overcome the message that millions of Mexicans sent them from the polls .
The new government is under-construction
We're told that the virtual President is still meeting with possible candidates for the most important areas of his teamwork, as well as possible candidates who must be approved by the legislative branch. Rosalinda Lópe z, a former Senator , the elected Tabasco governor's sister , and Chiapas governor Rutilio Escandón's wife , was in AMLO's office yesterday afternoon. Don't think that Rosalinda went to congratulate her fellow countryman. The accountant is one of the possible candidates to occupy the Tax Administration Service ( SAT ). She also went over to Ricardo Peralta Saucedo's office , one of López Obrador's nominee to the Anti-corruption District Attorney.
