We're told that this man, considered to be the one who took the lead of the criminal organization known as La Unión Tepito . After El Betito , the former leader, was arrested, El Pistache spent time in malls and restaurants in Santa Fe , to go unnoticed. Personnel from Mexico City's Public Security Ministry, led by Raymundo Collins , had located places where El Pistache spent time in Santa Fe , a well as in other fancy neighborhoods such as Polanco , or Condesa . In the end, this information and in collaboration between Mexico City 's government, the Federal Police , the Attorney General's Office , and the Navy worked to prepare the yesterday operations, where he and his gang members were arrested.
Lowering the curtains at offices outside Mexico
A month before the change of power, and with the austerity policy favored by the incoming administration, some of Mexico 's offices in other countries have begun their cleansing. The dilemma of pretrial detention
Two weeks ago, we're told, the president of the National Human Rights Commission, Luis Raúl González Pérez , and the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner in Mexico, Jan Jarab, requested federal congressmen to eliminate the pretrial detention in Mexican law. The request remains in the air, as two parliamentary groups in San Lázaro published reform initiatives to the Constitution 19th article in the official gazette. The PAN requires wants to add burglary as a crime that merits pretrial detention and the Encuentro Social party, is looking to add the intervention of private communications. Is this just a hint that congressmen don't care about human rights recommendations?
