The defense of Mexican actor Pablo Lyle , who is accused of involuntary manslaughter for the death of a man he punched in a traffic argument in Miami , asked for the actor to be allowed to travel to Mexico while an appeal they filed is resolved.
Known for acting in soap operas, Lyle, who is 33 years old , appeared before his first hearing with Judge Marlene Fernández-Karavetsos , who has taken the case previously assessed by Judge Alan S. Fine, who in September 2019 denied to apply a Florida self-defense law in favor of the actor.
Lyle’s lawyers appealed the decision but Justice has yet to deliver.

Lawyers Bruce Lehrer
and Philip Reizenstein argued before the judge that after the March 31, 2019 incident in which Lyle punched the 63-years-old Cuban Juan Ricardo Hernández , the actor was in Mexico and returned as he had promised when the judge granted him permission to travel.
Hernández died in a hospital four days after being hit by Lyle, which aggravated the case for the actor, who has been in house arrest in Miami, with an electronic shackle , and without a passport since April 9.
Today, the prosecutors expressed their disagreement of Pablo Lyle traveling to Mexico for fear of him not returning.
