Mexico adds 10 more Magic Villages to the list

The Tourism Ministry (Sectur) announced that there will be 10 new Magic Villages in 2018

During the 2018 National Magic Villages Fair, the head of the Tourism Ministry ( Sectur ), Enrique de la Madrid , announced that there will be 10 new Magic Villages .

De la Madrid considers that these villages will attract thousands of tourists from countries such as the U.S., Canada, France, China , among other nations.

The 10 new Magic Villages are:

1. Melchor Múzquiz, Coahuila , in northern Mexico

2. Nombre de Dios, Durango , in northwest Mexico

3. Comonfort, Guanajuato , in central Mexico

4. Zimapán, Hidalgo , in central Mexico

5. Tlaquepaque, Jalisco , in western Mexico

6. Compostela, Nayarit , in west Mexico

7. Amealco de Bonfil, Querétaro

, in north-central Mexico

8. Aquismón, San Luis Potosí , in north-central Mexico

9. Bustamante, Nuevo Leó n, in northeastern Mexico

10. Guadalupe, Zacatecas , in north central Mexico
