There is a wide offer of cultural activities to enjoy this Summer in Mexico City , from this season of the Mineria Symphony Orchestra to workshops at museums, all within the framework of important exhibits.
For instance, based on the exhibit Amazing Creatures of Theo Jansen , the Arte Alameda Lab will offer the Summer course "Imaginazine. Collectable Beasts", which will allow participants to discover what happens when the artificial comes to life.
This workshop will take place, Monday to Friday, from July 24 to August 11, starting at 10:00 until 14:00hrs., and it's aimed at children from six to 11 years old, who will be able – through the creative processes of the Dutch artist – to explore the limits of science and art, using homemade devices, corporal expressions and teamwork, while they journey across fantastic words full of monumental beings.
The course contains three modules, each worth MXN $500 pesos.
