Russian violinist Maxim Vengerov will present today, Sunday, June 11 at 5:00 p.m., at the Palace of Fine Arts , a recital in which he will perform works by Brahms, Franck and Ravel , accompanied by his fellow countryman Vag Papian .
The program is comprised by the most popular pieces from these classic composers' repertoire. The first part is dedicated to the interpretation of compositions by Johaness Brahms and the second part to the other two composers.
This program was not selected because it was popular, but because the works were dedicated to violinists friends of the authors. "On the stage, you will notice a dialogue between violin and piano. All these pieces are my favorite, but the sonata by Franck is my favorite because of the interpretive technique it demands to those who execute it ", commented the violinist recognized worldwide.
In addition, "because, emotionally, one must elevate their soul to the standards that the author expected when he composed it", added Vengerov.
Vengerov recalled that he was only 10 years old when he started playing a Stradivarius , which helped him find his own sound, his voice and the sonority that he enjoys and transmits in every concert around the planet. That sound that nowadays identifies and distinguishes him, makes him proud and has him placed as one of the best violinists in the world today.
Maxim Vengerov's recital will be broadcast live by the EL UNIVERSAL website and through the screen of the corridor "Angela Peralta", next to the Palace of Fine Arts . The presentation will take place at 17:00 hours.
