Monreal meddles into AMLO-PT agreement

What's left in the political arena of the so called 'lefts' out of the three-hour negotiation that took place at dawn and that resulted in the declination of the Labour Party (PT) candidate to the government of the State of Mexico, Óscar González Yañez, in favor of the aspirant of National Regeneration Party (MORENA), Delfina Gómez, is the work of a character who seeks to be the next candidate of MORENA to the government of Mexico City: Ricardo Monreal. We are told that the hands of Mr. Ricardo and those of his brother, Senator David Monreal, were important in order to sit the representative of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, lawyer Horacio Duarte, with the leaders of PT to carry out the political pact. Now, we are told, the Zacatecas politicians are supporting Mrs. Delfina in the few days left from the electoral campaign. The question at this moment is: Will AMLO endorse Mr. Ricardo's aspirations in the capital of the country?

Regarding the State of Mexico elections, we are told that the leaders and political operators of National Regeneration Party (MORENA) are sitting right next to the phone waiting for a call from Dante Delgado, Citizen Movement Party Coordinator, to confirm their attachment to the candidacy of Delfina Gómez. We are told that the orange party conscientiously analyzes this possibility, but everything revolves around a decision on the presidential election of 2018. And, of course, it converges on the positions that could be received by Mr. Dante's people in the state government or the proposals for positions of popular election in 2018, either in the Senate or in the Chamber of Deputies.

Anaya in debt with State of Mexico

With all the hustle and bustle in the campaigns in the State of Mexico, last minute declines and accusations to the electoral body, a concern remains in the war room of State of Mexico's Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI): the National Action Party (PAN) candidate Josefina Vázquez Mota's strategy. And not because of her position in the polls - some put her in third and others in fourth place - but because the PAN, in its desire to overtake positions, broadcast some very hard spots on the entity's insecurity, which hit PRI's campaign. But the blue candidate is not being held accountable for this acid criticism, but the national leader, Ricardo Anaya, who allegedly had non-aggression agreements. Sooner or later debts will be collected, tricolor party strategists say.

Legislators full on campaigns

All the political forces in the Congress of the Union are full on the electoral campaigns that conclude on Wednesday May 31. As it is mandatory for the Permanent Commission of the Congress of the Union - headed by Green Party Senator, Pablo Escudero - to hold sessions once a week, deputies and senators were summoned on Tuesday 30 so they don't lose the opportunity to go to campaign closures in the State of Mexico, Coahuila, Nayarit and Veracruz. In parallel, we are told, it is expected that, on Tuesday, the legislators that make up the Election Commission that was supposed to follow up on the 2017 elections get together. A little too late, don't you think?
