Mireles transferred to National Institute of Cardiology

Due to an arrhythmia, the former member of Michoacan's self-defense organizations was transferred to Mexico City

This Saturday, José Manuel Mireles, former spokesman of the self-defense organizations of Michoacan was transferred from Morelia to Mexico City in order to be examined by physicians due to an arrhythmia.

His lawyer, Ignacio Mendoza, said that Mireles' condition is stable but delicate and that the intention is that he is taken care of by cardiologists so as he can recover as soon as possible.

According to a bulletin by the party Citizen's Movement (MC), during the next days, the latest news on his health condition will be announced.

Last Friday, Mireles was admitted to an exclusive hospital in the city of Morelia, Michoacan, where 24 hours later, the doctors decided to transfer him to the capital of the country in order to be treated by specialists.
