Disney-Pixar’s new film Coco centers on the Mexican holiday of Day of the Dead and a 12-year-old boy named Miguel.
The film is directed by Lee Unkrich and the cast includes the voices of Gael García Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Renée Victor, and newcomer Anthony González as Miguel.
Coco takes place in a Mexican village on the holiday Day of the Dead and follows the secret musical ambitions of Miguel Rivera. For generations, the Riveras have banned music because they believe they have been cursed by it.
The film is written and co-directed by Adrián Molina and produced by Darla K. Anderson. It will be released on November 22, 2017.
