Police identify 5 women found dead inside truck in Zacatecas

On Monday morning, the remains of five women were found inside a truck in downtown Juan Aldama, Zacatecas, together with casings from firearms used exclusively by the Mexican Armed Forces

The State Attorney General's Office (PGJE) reported that the five women found dead inside a truck in the municipality of Juan Aldama, Zacatecas have been identified.

The victims are Ana Karen “N”, 26; Paola Yanet “N”, 20; Hilda Patricia “N”, 30; Lucero Corina “N”, 23, from the municipality of Miguel Auza and María Janeth “N”, 30, from Juan Aldama.

In a statement, the state government said that the first expert reports show that at least three people are involved in the killing of the five women.

According to the police, balaclavas stamped with figures of skull, a firearm, as well as traces of cocaine and marijuana were found inside the vehicle.

Objects like pipes and light bulbs, commonly used for the consumption of drugs, were also found.
