Mexico's Federal Government has condemned the murder of Russian ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, during a cultural event in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
In a press statement, Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it is “absolutely” against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and hopes all perpetrators of this heinous crime are brought to justice.
Also, the head of Mexico's state department, sent her condolences to the Russian government, as well as to family members and loved ones of the Russian diplomat, who was shot in the back and killed as he gave a speech at an Ankara art gallery on Monday by an off-duty police officer who shouted "Don't forget Aleppo" and "Allahu Akbar" as he opened fire.
