Mexican DEA’s most wanted arrested in Chihuahua

Luis Arellano Romero is charged with Criminal Association, Organized Crime, Crimes against Health, Money Laundering and Firearms Trafficking

Members of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico arrested Luis Arellano Romero, aka “Helio”, one of the most wanted men by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), after executing the active arrest warrant against him for Criminal Association, Organized Crime, Crimes against Health, Money Laundering and Firearms Trafficking.

The detainee is required by the Federal Court of Texas since September 27, 2014 for drug distribution and was finally located by agents of the Criminal Investigation Agency after intelligence works in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

According to sources from the Attorney General’s Office, Arellano Romero has been transferred to Mexico City.
