Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto nominated on Tuesday Alejandro Díaz de León to take a place on the Banco de México's Board of Governors for the 2017-2024 term.
Díaz de León would replace Manuel Sánchez who will leave office on December 31.
He is currently the head of the government's exporter bank (Bancomext).
