Authorities dismiss woman found in Mexico City is the missing student from Veracruz

The person located earlier in Mexico City is Génesis Jimena Medina Andrade, who is in no way related to the case of the missing students in Veracruz

Sources of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico informed that the female located alive in Mexico City is Génesis Jimena Medina Andrade, also known as Génesis “N”, and does not bear any relationship or connection with the student reported missing in Veracruz earlier this week.

According to the agency, Génesis Jimena Medina Andrade has been presented as requested in the Specialized Missing Persons Office of the Attorney General’s in Veracruz.

A warrant for her location and presentation was issued to the Criminal Investigation Agency as the young woman had been requested to testify as a witness in Veracruz.
