The safety procedures implemented by the Mexico City’s Public Security Secretariat in the occasion of the 48th Anniversary commemorating the Tlatelolco’s massacre in 1968 have officially been completed without any acts of violence or any other trouble to report.

Hiram Almeida Estrada, Head of the Public Security Secretariat of Mexico City, noted that the C-2 and C5 Command and Control Centers, as well as the Traffic Control Computer Center monitored all avenues and ways transited by the protesters to detect and control any act of violence that might alter the public order or that may put the safety of people at risk.

The march started today midday from “Plaza de las Tres Culturas”, Tlatelolco, and ended with a rally at Zócalo square.
