According to the report issued by the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), Popocatépetl Volcano recorded 83 low-intensity exhalations accompanied by emissions of steam and gas in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday night, incandescence over the crater was observed.
Additionally, a volcano-tectonic earthquake was reported at 07:02 am today with Mc. 2.
At the time of this report (11:00am) a slight emission of steam and gas moving toward the northwest was observed.
