The City of San Miguel de Allende has declared U.S. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump a “persona non grata.”

The city, located in the State of Guanajuato, took this action in response to the mogul's campaign of hate against migrants, especially Mexicans, whom he has called “rapists” and “criminals.”

City authorities approved the initiative, which also stated that Trump is not welcome on any territory belonging to San Miguel de Allende because his campaign promotes xenophobia and threatens millions of Mexicans living in the United States.
