Today morning, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto held a private meeting with the athletes who participated in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The meeting was held at the official residence of Los Pinos without media presence.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of National Defense, General Salvador Cienfuegos; Minister of the Navy, Admiral Vidal Soberón; Minister of Public Education, Aurelio Nuño; Director of the National Commission of Sports (Conade), Alfredo Castillo, and President of the Mexican Olympic Committee (COM), Carlos Padilla.
Mexico had a total of 3 silver medals and two bronze at the Rio Olympics 2016.
