The National Coordination of Education Workers (CNTE) organized four marches that left from four different spots in Mexico City: La Raza and Xola subway stations, the airport and the Angel of Independence Monument. All are heading towards Mexico City dowtown.

Teachers have agreed to submit themselves to the evaluation provided it is fair, but they continue to oppose the education reform, because labor conditions are unfair and they argue it would privatize education.

Students are also participating in the marches.
