Judge murdered in Tixtla, Guerrero

Presumed hitmen killed judge Juan Octavio Morales from the municipality of Eduardo Neri, leaving the body in an area known as “Huizacha”, near the city of Tixtla, in the municipality of the same name.

According to the spokesperson of the inter-agency Guerrero Group, Roberto Alvarez Heredia, the body was found this morning at 10:00 a.m., and the experts determined that the body presented the impact of several powerful bullets including the coup de grace.

The judge was the brother of the former local head of Environmental Affairs, Daniel Morales Pastor, and had just arrived from Tlacotepec.
