During his participation in the Mexico-Argentina Bussines Forum, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto announced the extension of the trade agreement known as "AC6," which could open the way for a free trade deal between his country and Argentina.
The extension agreement is among a myriad of deals signed with his counterpart Mauricio Macri.
"It could lead us to a totally open commercial agreement."
Peña Nieto added that both nations have to "break down obstacles, promote change and have structural policies in order to respond to the new challenges of the globalized world."
He added that it is necessary to have both governments promote the required actions in order to have a macroeconomic stability. "We are doing it in Mexico this way because we think that it is a necessary condition for development and prosperity."
