According to the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), the monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 100 low-intensity exhalations during the last 24 hours.
Three explosions were also recorded. The largest one occurred today at 01:22 am, it spewed incandescent fragments over the northeast side.
22 minutes of harmonic tremor were also reported.
Incandescence over the crater was observed at night.
Today in the morning, a light emission of steam and gas heading towards the west-northwest was seen.
