President Enrique Peña Nieto will travel to Washington to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday.
Peña Nieto is expected to arrive today at the Andrews Air Force Base at 7:30 pm, where he will be greeted by the Ambassador of Mexico to the United States Carlos Sada Solana, and the Chief of Protocol of the United States Peter A. Selfridge.
Later, the Mexican president will have a working dinner with Chancellor Claudia Ruiz Massieu, Minister of Treasury Luis Videgaray, Minister of Economy Ildefonso Guajardo, as well as the Attorney General Arely Gómez.
On Friday, President Peña Nieto is expected to arrive at 10:20 am at the White House, from where he will travel to the Hall Roosvelt to sign the distinguished visitors' book.
Fifteen minutes later, in the Oval Office, the Mexican president will hold a private meeting with President Obama in which they will be accompanied by Chancellor Ruiz Massieu and the National Security Advisor of the United States, Susan Rice.
Around 11:00 am, the presidents of Mexico and the United States will hold an open meeting with delegations of both countries.
After the meeting, a joint message to the media is expected.
Around 3:30 pm, President Peña Nieto will meet with the Dreamers and will be back in Mexico at 8:35 pm.
