Lead singer of Banda MS shot in Mexico City

Alan Ramírez, lead singer of the Banda MS group, is fine after being shot in the early morning in the neighborhood of Polanco, reported the banda group.

"Our colleague Alan is getting better and through the morning we will give a press conference in order to provide the latest news," reported the band on Twitter.

According to the latest reports, around 3:00 a.m. Saturday, when he was shot while on board his truck in Polanco.

The Banda MS played a concert last night in the Auditorio Nacional hall in Mexico City.

According to banda music channel Bandamax, an unidentified man attacked the singer and shot him in the neck. Ramírez was taken to a hospital by his bandmates.
