At least 11 states are reporting early results from Sunday Mexican regional elections through the Preliminary Electoral Results Programs, but the tendencies represented could still change.

The states providing the early results are Aguascalientes, Durango, Hidalgo, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Puebla, Sinaloa, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala, Veracruz and Zacatecas.

In Aguascalientes, the right-wing National Action Party (PAN) is winning with 44.51% of the votes, followed by the ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), with 40.10%.

In Chihuahua, the alliance between the PRI, Green Party, Labour Party and New Alliance Party (Panal) has 35.32% of the votes, while the PAN has 36.38%.

In Durango, the alliance between the PAN and the left-wing Revolutionary Democratic Party (PRD) is winning with 49.92%, versus the PRI-Green Party, with 40.26%.

In Oaxaca, the PRI-Green Party-Panal has 31.64% of the votes, while the PAN-PRD has 26.84%.

In Puebla, the PAN-Labour Party-Panal is winning, with 44.56%, over the PRI-Green Party, with 33.69%.

In Tamaulipas, the PAN is winning with 49.35% over the PRD-Green Party-Panal, with 36.14%.

In Veracruz, the National Renovation Movement, with 33.61%, is winning over the PAN-PRD alliance, 31.14%, and the PRI-Green Party, with 25.03%.
