An 18-year-old from Mexico recorded the deaths of his two older friends in a crash while they were participating in an illegal car race in the State of Mexico, last May 30.
In a video posted on social networks, recorded by the 18-year-old in the back seat of a sports car, two other vehicles can be seen racing on the three lanes of Periférico Norte, a highway surrounding the metropolitan area of Mexico City.
The driver of the vehicle on which the kid is traveling manages to leave the other cars behind, but loses control and crashes. The recording doesn't stop and cries for help can be heard in the middle of the dark.
EL UNIVERSAL reported last May 30 that two youngsters died and another one was injured in a car crash at 3:00 a.m at the same area.
The clandestine races in the area are nothing new, and are particularly more complicated during weekends, and the authorities have implemented special operations to stop the would-be racers.
