José Luis Higuera, CEO of the Guadalajara soccer team, presented ChivasTV channel and the packages that viewers can purchase starting in July.
The total package will cost 2,750 pesos (US$148) and includes 17 league matches (Apertura 2016 and Clausura 2017) and all cup games, including the playoffs.
From July 2 to 14 a special price of 1,999 pesos (US$107) will be offered to suscribers.
The cost of the semi-annual package will be 1,550 pesos (US$83.6) and includes nine league games, playoffs, cup matches and low-demand contents.
Single matches can also be purchased and their price goes from 125 to 500 pesos (US$6.7 to 27).
Also, Chivas TV offers the “Rebaño” package that costs 50 pesos (US$2.7) and includes all the league matches but with a two-hour delay.
A minimum bandwidth of 2MB is required for HD content.
Chivas TV, available through the app Chivas TV and the website http://chivastv.mx/, was launched at the Content Capital 2016 event in Mexico City, but the broadcast experienced technical difficulties for 15 minutes.
