Zoé Zambrano García, Administrative Director of the Drinking Water Operator agency in Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico, was shot in the head during working hours at the neighborhood known as Parques.
According to reports, Zambrano García was killed during a cleaning operation in the area, located at downtown Cuautitlán Izcalli, at 8:10 a.m.
The report indicated that a man came close to Zambrano García and shot him in the head, leaving on a white car driven by an accomplice.
Zambrano García, in his late 30s or early 40s has been identified as someone close to mayor Víctor Manuel Estrada Garibay, a former Olympic medallist in Tae Kwon Do.
