The Federal Police reported the arrest in the town of San Jeronimito, in the municipality of Petatlán, of five alleged criminals found in possession of weapons, drugs, two vehicles and mobile phones.
According to the report, one of the detainees is Jesús Gilberto González Lobato, known as "El Gaucho" and the alleged leader of the criminals in Petatlán.
Intelligence work allowed the authorities to determine the habits of González Lobato, who at the moment of his arrest said that they worked for a person identified only as "El Gavilán".
The Federal Police also reported that before the arrest they found the way leading to the criminals blocked in many places, but they were able to go through.
