Social network users called the Mexican authorities to do something to stop the incidents of sexual abuse inside the Metropolitan Subway System of Mexico City, after a young woman published a video of a man who touched her inappropriately.

But this time, the video came with a twist because the man was pursued and then beaten up by his victim.

The woman, who identifies herself as Konni Lusz on Facebook, claimed that she beat the man "because we went way out of line" when he touched her on the pelvic area.

She narrated the incident on her Facebook profile, explaining that she was on the way home along a friend when, at the Pino Suárez subway station a man identified as 21-year-old Alberto Gómez, "reached out to touch my pelvis."

Konni then explained that she pursued her aggressor and when the man tried to escape he was detained by two people and "I gave him what he deserved, a fucking beating."

The post was accompanied by pictures and a video, where Gómez can be seen with a bloodied face and clothes, seating on the stairs of the station, crying.

The Department of Public Security of Mexico City has not reported if Gómez has been formally arrested or not.

On Facebook, most people agreed with Konni's actions, albeit some disagreed with her use of physical force. In any case, most of them agreed that if men respected women, and the authorities did their job, this would never happen.

Until this afternoon, Konni's video had been shared more than 24,500 times.
