The parents of the missing 43 students from the Ayotzinapa school of teachers called the Office of the Attorney General (PGR) to fire the head of the Criminal Investigation Agency, Tomás Zerón de Lucio.
After a meeting with Attorney General Aracely Gómez, lawyer Vidulfo Rosales said that there are irregularities in the investigation and Zerón Lucio is guilty of some of them.
He added that former Attorney General Jesús Murillo said that the students were burned to cinders along their cellphones, but there's evidence that at least seven of them were still being used several days after.
Also, some suspects involved in the case have been arrested, without the proper notification to the parents of the victims.
The PGR cancelled a press conference by the vice attorney for Human Rights, Eber Betanzos, who would have spoken about the meeting between Gómez and the parents of the victims.
According to the PGR, an agreement was reached about not having the agency declaring about the meeting.
