Margarito, a Mexican comedian and singer who worked on TV and movies, died yesterday in Puebla at 79 due to pneumonia.

His remains will be taken to Benito Juárez, Sinaloa, where he was born in 1936.

Between 1970 and 1980 he lived in El Salvador, and when he returned to Mexico he was seen signing in buses and the subway.

His situation improved when Guillermo del Bosque invited him to participate in TV shows such as “Al fin de semana”, “No manches”, “Incógnito” and “Vida TV”, among others.

He also participated in movies such as "El Mariachi Desconocido", "La Odalisca No. 13" and "Fieras contra Fieras", among others.
