Fabián Granier Calles, son of former governor of Tabasco Andrés Granier, was released on bail for alleged tax fraud, his lawyer Eduardo Luengo said.

Luengo said that his client was released on bail because the charge he faces is not considered an aggravate felony.

He also added that the son of the former Mexican governor presented an income tax statement to the Tax Administration Service and already paid his debts.
