Pumas UNAM defeated Monarcas Morelia by a score of 4-2 in a game in Ciudad Universitaria, Mexico City, for the 11 date of the Clausura 2016 tournament.

Morelia opened the score just two minutes into the game, thanks to Jefferson Cuero, after Pumas' Dante López was unable to defeat goalkeeper Carlos Rodríguez.

Pumas has the logical advantage of playing before the eyes of 20,000 fans and charged with energy against the visitors. Josecarlos Van Rankin gave them the chance to tie the game at the 23 minute, thanks to a mistake by Erick Aguirre.

On the second half, Pumas scored again, with "Hachita" Ludueña (49), an own goal by Monarcas' Carlos Rodríguez (53) and Javier Cortés (57).

Carlos Morales scored the second for Morelia just about the end of the game.

With this result, Pumas gets to the ninth place in the general ranking, with 15 points, just one away from Xolos Tijuana. Morelia has 10 points.
