The next major state to vote in the presidential nominating contest, Arizona, offers a model for how Donald Trump might win the White House.
Arizona votes Tuesday. It has a growing Latino population but has been dominated by Republicans for decades. That's because the GOP has increasingly won over white voters to counter growth in the Democratic-leaning Latino electorate.

But Arizona Republicans, particularly controversial Sheriff Joe Arpaio, show how a conservative populism can gain votes.
Arpaio has endorsed Trump.
