According to the daily report of the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), the monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 90 low-intensity exhalations accompanied by slight amounts of ash.
One explosion, 29 minutes of harmonic tremor, and a volcano-tectonic event of 2.1 magnitude were also registered during the last 24 hours.
Slight incandescence over the crater was observed at night, as well as some exhalations.
At the time of this report, a continues emission of steam and gas heading to the southeast has been observed.
