Moisés Dagdug Lützow, a journalist owner of the radio station XEVX, was found dead at his home in Villahermosa, Tabasco, on Saturday morning.
He was found dead in the kitchen by his sister, Esther Alicia Dagdud Lützow, former local legislator of the ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
The Attorney General's Office of the state announced that it is investigating the crime.
The subject of his last radio program, on Friday, broadcast on 89.7 FM and on www.canalTVX.com, was about the lynchings and insecurity prevailing in the state. The journalist had been threatened before being murdered.
His killers fled in his white pickup truck, that was found on Km. 13.7 of the Villahermosa-Centla highway. Alcohol and a bloody knife were found inside the vehicle.
From 2006 to 2009 Dagdud, a member of the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), served as Deputy of the LX Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing Tabasco.
