131 cases of influenza in the State of Mexico

With 131 cases of influenza and six deaths so far in the State of Mexico, it is urgent that the Department of Health promotes awareness on the disease, particularly in the schools and communities with sick people, according to Congressman Luis Marrón Agustín.


According to the Ministry of Health, the State of Mexico reported 131 positive cases of influenza in its various variants, as well as six deaths, as pointed out by Marrón Agustín.


The State of Mexico is the third place in the number of deaths associated with influenza after Sinaloa and Sonora, followed of Jalisco and Aguascalientes, with 77% of the deaths caused by the disease, according to the Epidemiological Influenza Surveillance System, quoted by the lawmaker.
