Congresswoman for Morena Party in Tabasco, Candelaria Pérez Jiménez, said yesterday during an interview that “gays should not exist.”

Today, the Tabasco State Human Rights Commission (CEDH) received three complaints from non-governmental organizations against the local congresswoman for such homophobic remarks.

One of the complaints was filed by José Cruz Guzmán, president of Tudyssex, an NGO in support of sexual diversity, who said that the congresswoman's remarks are discrimination acts.
