Mexican cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki won best cinematography for "The Revenant".
This is the fifth time that Lubezki wins the award by the American Society of Cinematographers. He also won with Birdman, Gravity, Children of men and Tree of Life.
The Mexican filmmaker won in the same category at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards. This is the fourth time he wins this award.
The director of Lithuanian descent is in line for a third Oscar for his work on the Revenant.
