The Vice-President of Guatemala, Juan Alfonso Fuentes Soria, expressed that the arrest of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán will cause a change in the drug trafficking industry in Guatemala.

In statements to the press, Fuentes Soria expressed that "with a situation like this there can be changes, realignment," and urged the security forces to react accordingly.
