Cuernavaca mayor Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo said that the arrival of the “Unified Command” represents a coup to the government of the municipality.
He explained that the decree announced yesterday by Morelos governor Graco Ramírez to take control of Cuernavaca's municipal police will be legally challenged.
Blanco added that Ramírez would be responsible if anything happens to him, his family and his team.
Municipal policemen were told that Carlos de la Rosa Segura, appointed by Blanco, is no longer Public Security Secretary and that Cuernavaca's security is now controlled by the Unified Command, the Gendarmerie and the Attorney General's Office (PGR).
