Iván Guzmán, presumed son of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, defended Kate del Castillo on Twitter.

“They divert information with the intention to sink and slander @katedelcastillo, while politicians keep taking people's money,” Iván Archivaldo wrote on the unverified Twitter account (@IvanArchivaldo), referring to the investigation against the Mexican actress, who met with El Chapo when he was on the run.

On January 17, the following tweet was posted from the same account: “The government has forgotten who fed it, when they need money they seek help, but once in power they bite the hand. Ungrateful”. And he added: “My dad would say: the dog that bites the hand that feeds it normally licks the boot of the one who kicks it”.
