Playboy announced in October that the magazine will no longer publish fully nude images of women as part of an edition redesign.
"To close out this era in the magazine’s history, it only made sense to put the most famous Playmate in Playboy history on the cover: Pamela Anderson,” staff issued a statement.
The last edition of fully nudes in the U.S. was on stands in December 2015.
Playboy Mexico announced it will feature these iconic photos in the magazine's February issue.
The magazine was founded in 1953 by Hugh Hefner, who remains its editor-in-chief.
