Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto arrived in Ecuador in order to participate in the IV Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, which will be held in Quito.

Peña Nieto was received by José Serrano Salgado, the Minister of Security of Ecuador, as well as by Ambassador Miguel Malfavón Andrade, director general for Protocol of Mexico.

The summit will touch on issues such as economics, climate change and poverty in the region, and Peña Nieto will have private bilateral meetings with his colleagues of Guatemala and Panamá.
