Three human bodies, some apparently dead for some time, were found in a gorge in the municipality of Emiliano Zapata, near the city of Xalapa, capital of Veracruz.
The Office of the Attorney General of Veracruz reported that the bodies were found in a difficult to reach ravine and that the authorities are investigating nevertheless.
"All the necessary tests will be conducted in order to determine if this incident is related to the disappearance of the five youngsters in Tierra Blanca," expressed the attorney's offices in a press release.
Yesterday, the authorities of Veracruz arrested seven policemen over the disappearance of four men and one underage woman on January 11.
Luis Angel Bravo Contreras, Attorney General of Veracruz, reported the search of José Benítez de la O, Mario Arturo Orozco, Alfredo González Díaz, Bernardo Benítez Arroniz and Susana Tapia Garribo.
They were arrested by ministerial police officers in Tierra Blanca and then allegedly handed over to a criminal gang.
