“El Chapo” allegedly wanted to buy Chelsea FC: Spanish media

According to SPORT newspaper from Spain, sources close to Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán confirmed that the drug lord was interested in buying London-based soccer club Chelsea.
Reports showed that “El Chapo” was ready to pay the US$868 million it would have cost him the Premier League giant Chelsea FC.
The transaction was not carried out and the reasons were not mentioned.
