Back then, "Tony Montana" used the alias of "Joel Mora Garibay" and was in charge of obtaining information of the operations against the cartel, as well as providing weapons for its members.

For the governments of Mexico and the United States, the Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) is the most dangerous organization in Mexico and the one with the greatest economic resources.

In Mexico, the cartel has been extended its influence in at least eight states, Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Guanajuato, Nayarit, Guerrero, Morelos and Veracruz, as well as in Mexico City.

It has also grown internationally, being able to penetrate the markets of drugs like meth in the United States, Asia and Europe.
