José Luis Hernández Rivera, principal of the teachers training college "Raúl Isidro Burgos" of Ayotzinapa, will testify before the Assistant Attorney General's Office for Special Investigations on Organized Crime (SEIDO).

Felipe Salgado Rodríguez, member of the criminal organization Guerreros Unidos, has said that Hernández belonged to the rival gang "Los Rojos".

For this reason Hernández, who has repeatedly denied having links with organized crime, went last week to the delegation of the Attorney General's Office (PGR) in Guerrero to express his interest in testifying before the Public Prosecutor.

According to "El Cepillo", as Salgado is better known, Hernández received money from "Los Rojos" so that his students would go to Iguala on September 26, 2014 to riot during a speech by María de los Ángeles Pineda, wife of former mayor José Luis Abarca.

In his statement, Sidronio Casarrubias Salgado, leader of Guerreros Unidos, said that 17 members of Los Rojos were among the 43 missing students, that were last seen in Iguala on September 26, 2014.

Jonathan Osorio Gómez "El Jona", one of the detainees of Guerreros Unidos involved in the disappearance of the students, has said that Bernardo Flores Alcaraz “El Cochiloco” was a member of Los Rojos. However authorities have not corroborated his account.
