President Enrique Peña Nieto said that for the first time in 20 years, the world could achieve a universal and binding agreement to prevent global temperature from increasing more than two degrees.
"Mexico supports the initiative to put a price on carbon. The transition to a low-carbon economy is the responsibility of all governments, organizations, companies and civil society,” President Peña Nieto said at the 2015 Paris Climate Conference.
